The children at Community Kindy Pukekohe had an exciting week studying the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly. Our tamariki have developed a love for the butterflies which visit our garden daily. We have witnessed and observed the amazing transformation of caterpillars turning into beautiful butterflies. What an amazing experience for the children!

Going blueberry picking
The tamariki of Community Kindy Waikite Valley recently went on an excursion to Te Kopia Farm Blueberries, owned by one of our lovely parents. The children walked through the blueberry bushes filling their containers with delicious blueberries, and eating them too! When we returned to the centre, the tamariki their own blueberry muffins for afternoon tea.
