ABC Allenton is a purposely designed childcare centre providing a specialised environment for infants, toddlers and young children. Our passionate and engaged team of teachers provide care and education within the inviting indoor and outdoor settings, conveniently located in the heart of Ashburton. Our environment has been designed and built with the changing needs of growing and developing tamariki in mind; our setting provides four unique classrooms and each is designed to meet these every changing needs and interests.

Our under 2’s areas promote connections, confidence and free movement as our teachers partner with you to support our youngest learners. As children transition, our over 2’s areas celebrate self-help skills, independence, risk taking and preparation for school through our Be School Ready initiative.

Our centre focuses on nurturing children and their whānau through fun, laughter and open communication. These relationships are nurtured throughout our centre, at all levels. Our teachers believe in providing a stimulating setting that sparks children’s curiosity and challenges them to explore and become active in their world. We provide children with the time, space, resources and support to further themselves as capable and confident learners and explorers.

Birth to school age is a pivotal stage in the growth and development of our young people, and we feel privileged to share this time with you and your child while providing them with the very best level of care and education to support their physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual lives.

Parent Feedback:

“I have had all 3 of my girls enrolled here at ABC Allenton and they absolutely love and adore all the teachers and have formed some amazing friendships.  My girls have developed and learnt so much and I believe that this has a lot to do with what they have been taught here. “

“I love ABC and would highly recommend it.”

“My Children have been attending ABC for the past 6 years and we have nothing but positive feedback for the care and love they have given my children.  All the staff are so friendly and approachable and are there for my children and family.”

“We have had four of our children attending ABC for the past 7 years.  From such a long relationship we have formed strong connections and all of our children were loved and cared for as they were supported in being prepared for life at school and beyond.  We love the staff and all the amazing things they do for our children, it will be sad when our youngest goes to school.”
