At the heart of our centre is whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and aroha.
Stay and Play!
You’re invited to join us for Play and Stay every Friday from 9.30am-11.00am at Community Kindy Waikite Valley. A great opportunity to meet and greet local families, and enjoy our fun and stimulating learning environment.
Community Kindy Waikite Valley has close links with Waikite Valley School, and is situated on the school grounds. We’re regularly involved in school events, and join the new entrants’ classroom for buddy reading each week. We’re focussed on supporting your child transition to your chosen primary school.
Local experienced teachers are dedicated to ensuring quality early education is provided for your child, through well-documented and thoughtful programme planning. This is displayed for parents to view and contribute to. We aim to support your child in developing the skills needed for life-long learning, and to thrive throughout their life.
The team at Community Kindy Waikite Valley offer a variety of learning experiences that support and extend the interests, skills and learning dispositions of your child. Including story-telling, puppets, art and craft, painting, messy play, water play, sand play, music, blocks and construction, family play, puzzles, excursions and much more! It’s important that children can confidently make decisions with their own learning.
