At Montessori Children’s House, we recently celebrated Matariki with our children, whanau and families. Families donated root vegetables and children helped prepare the vegetables for the soup. We also made rawena bread and bought some Maori Fry Bread to have with the soup.

Kids to Five Puketaha recently celebrated Matariki. We had wonderful parent involvement donating food and also helping prepare it for our evening. The children really enjoyed sharing their mihi’s with their whanau and this was quite a highlight of the evening. What a wonderful turnout we had, thank you to everyone involved.
