At Montessori Children’s House, we recently celebrated Matariki with our children, whanau and families. Families donated root vegetables and children helped prepare the vegetables for the soup. We also made rawena bread and bought some Maori Fry Bread to have with the soup.

ANZAC Day Fundraising
Anzac is always a day of remembrance at Community Kindy Turangi and to acknowledge and mark this occasion the children made poppies and Anzac biscuits and sold them for $2.00 each. This year we decided to donate the proceeds to the Tongariro School Cadets.
