Going blueberry picking
The tamariki of Community Kindy Waikite Valley recently went on an excursion to Te Kopia Farm Blueberries, owned by one of our lovely parents. The children walked through the blueberry bushes filling their containers with delicious blueberries, and eating them too! When we returned to the centre, the tamariki their own blueberry muffins for afternoon tea.

TopKids Pukuatua and Community Kindy Waikite Valley Ninjas
Over the weekend, 6 staff from TopKids Pukuatua and Community Kindy Waikite Valley joined together to complete the Ekiden relay. Together they ran a total of 42 km. They were the BestStart Ninjas!
Every Friday the tamariki of Community Kindy Waikite Valley visit Waikite Valley School’s Year 1 and 2 classroom.
