Mat Time

Mat time provides the opportunity for the Tamariki at First Steps Frankton to actively participate in a social/group environment, where they have the ability to enjoy each others time together. Mat time also encourages a variety of learning experiences, through waiata, story telling and asking questions within a collective surrounding, modelling turn taking.
