We're thrilled to announce our innovation award!
Over the past year and a half, BestStart Kamo Central has undergone a transformative journey centered around kaitiakitanga. This journey has reshaped our center's culture, emphasizing respect for one another, our environment, resources, and learning.
This shift has created a serene, nurturing atmosphere, aligning with our center's vision statement, 'Home is not just a place, it is a feeling.' We've introduced elements of nature, like mara kai, a worm farm, compost, cherished chickens, and our newest family member, Tommy the turtle, enriching our learning environment.
Our tamariki have embraced these learning opportunities with pride and a sense of responsibility. We look forward to celebrating our achievements and sharing them with our whānau. Come visit us to learn more about our journey!
