Discover our unique rooms
Our centre prides itself on its spacious indoor and outdoor environments, offering engaging educational spaces where tamariki can discover and learn about the world around them. We have four age-specific rooms, each designed to support tamariki at their individual stage of development.
Our expansive outdoor area provides plenty of space for tamariki to strengthen their gross motor skills as they run, jump, climb, and challenge themselves on a variety of play equipment.
Pēpi Room(3 months - 2 years old)
Tahi Room(2 - 3 years old)
Our Tahi Room (2–3 years old) is a place where toddlers can explore, learn new skills, and develop their social and communication abilities. Our tamariki enjoy a wide range of meaningful learning experiences each day, which nurture their curiosity, independence, and emerging interests.
This room is designed to introduce foundational concepts in art, literacy, numeracy, construction, science, dramatic play, and more. Children are encouraged to lead their own learning with the support of our kaiako, helping them to grow and develop at their own pace.
Rua Room(3 - 4 years old)
As preschoolers transition into the Rua Room, learning is thoughtfully planned to ensure your child receives the support they need to succeed.
Our kaiako implement intentional teaching strategies to prepare tamariki for their move to primary school, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, communication, social development, and self-help skills.
Toru Room(4 - 5 years old)
As preschoolers move into the Toru Room, learning is carefully planned to ensure your child has the support they need for a smooth transition.
Our kaiako also use intentional teaching strategies to prepare tamariki for their next step into primary school, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, communication, social development, and self-help skills.
