A warm welcoming calm space for the pepe to explore at their own space. Teachers provide care practices to children on an individual basis. Morning tea and lunch times are had out with the Tuakana children, but at their own table. This also supports the Tuakana/Teina relationships in our centre.

We are a busy room, with children who are engaged in learning experiences and provocations both inside and outside. We have an inside space and outside space, both spaces have activities where children are engaged in learning. We have morning tea and lunchtime together as a group. If the weather is fine we can all go outside for lunch!
