BestStart Beckenham

At BestStart Beckenham, in Sydenham, Christchurch, we love being part of your child's early learning journey. From their first days in our nursery through to their preschool years, we enjoy watching tamariki grow, develop confidence and reach new milestones along the way. We value the relationships we build with children and whānau, creating a welcoming place where every child can feel supported as they learn and grow.

• Growing Together from Nursery to Preschool: We love being part of your child's journey as they grow through our centre, supporting their changing interests, developing skills and growing independence along the way.

• Set for School: Our programme supports older tamariki as they prepare for their next big adventure at school, helping them build confidence, independence and the skills they need for this exciting transition.

• Learning in Our Community: We enjoy regular excursions to our local library, primary schools and parks, giving tamariki opportunities to explore their surroundings, discover new things and build connections with their local community. One of our favourite annual traditions is visiting Ballantynes to see the Christmas window display!

• Convenient for Working Families: Open from 7am–6pm, we make drop-off and pick-up easier for busy families, helping you balance your workday with your child's early learning.

At BestStart Beckenham, we feel privileged to be part of your child's learning journey, celebrating their milestones and supporting them as they grow from curious little learners into confident preschoolers. We’d love to welcome you and your whānau to our centre and be part of your child’s early learning journey!
